Citizens' Academy of Largo 2013 Now Accepting Applications

Applications are now being accepted for the 2013 edition of the Citizens' Academy of Largo. This 12 week program consists of weekly sessions (6-8:30pm on Monday nights) designed to educate residents about the inner workings of their City government. Academy participants will tour key facilities, learn about the challenges facing future development, talk with City leaders about current issues and events affecting Largo and interact with City staff at all levels. Citizens' Academy is a great way to learn about and get involved in your community. Applications are available on the City's web site, Largo.com. Applications must be submitted by September 6.
