Ever considered raising chickens in your Largo backyard or growing your own food? A new urban farming conference will share everything from backyard farming to raising crops for local markets. The one-day event is Saturday, Feb. 9 from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Pinellas County Extension at 12520 Ulmerton Rd, Largo, according to a media release.
