Detectives: Pinellas Park Teacher Found with Child Sex Videos

John M. Kaneski, 42, of Dunedin, was identified during an undercover Internet investigation as someone who allegedly downloaded multiple videos of children forced to perform sexual acts, Pinellas County Sheriff's detectives report.

Detectives arrested a Dunedin man early Friday morning for allegedly downloading videos of children performing sexual acts onto his home computer. John Michael Kaneski, 42, of Edythe Drive, is also under investigation for being inappropriately "involved" with at least one girl, Pinellas County Sheriff's Bob Gualtieri said during a press conference Friday afternoon in Largo. The professional puppeteer will not face the charge of conspiring to kidnap a child, according to The Tampa Bay Times.

A Largo man who worked with local children for years will not face charge of conspiring to kidnap a child, The Tampa Bay Times reports. This summer Ronald William Brown, 57, was accused of conspiring to kidnap a child and talking online about cooking and eating children and having child pornography at his Whispering Pines residence. Brown maintained his innocence of the charges, TBO.com reported. Brown provided puppet and marionette shows to local children around the Tampa Bay area for many years through his Puppets Plus business. Brown was indicted Thursday by a federal grand jury on one count of possessing child pornography and one count of receiving child pornography, The Times reports. Largo Puppeteer Waives Bail Hearing

The man accused last month of conspiring to kidnap a child waived a bail hearing Wednesday, according to The Tampa Bay Times.

Ronald William Brown, 57, will stay in jail without bail as he waits trial on federal charges of conspiring to kidnap a child and possessing child pornography, The Tampa Bay Times reports. Brown provided puppet and marionette shows to local children around the Tampa Bay area for many years through his Puppets Plus business. He was arrested on July 20 as a part of a federal investigation. Brown allegedly chatted online last year with someone about kidnapping and eating children, giving details on how he would abduct and cook them, WTSP 10 News reports. The 57-year-old Largo man, who has performed at local schools and churches for 20 years, is charged with conspiring to kidnap kids and was found with images of child porn in his home, federal agents say.

A 57-year-old puppeteer from Largo was arrested last week by federal agents and charged with conspiring to kidnap young children and talking online about torturing and eating them. Ronald William Brown, 57, was busted by U.S. Marshals at his Whispering Pines mobile home park off 142nd Street and is being held in the Pinellas County Jail, WTSP 10 News reports. Criminal complaint documents posted on the news station's website show Brown allegedly chatted online with another man last year about kidnapping and eating children, describing how they would abduct them and cook their body parts on a stove. Man Charged with Traveling to Have Sex with a Minor: Now Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

Authorities arrested William David Casey on six counts of possession of child pornography.

Largo Police found child pornography on the computer of a man arrested earlier this month in Taylor Park. William David Casey, 74,  had traveled to the park to arrange allegedly to have sex with a teenager, according to police. After the June 5th arrest, police got access to Casey's computer and found the child pornography, Lt. Mike Loux said. Casey was arrested again on June 20 and charged with six counts of possession of child pornography. He is being held at the Pinellas County Jail, with total bond set at $60,000. The police investigated Casey after his wife alerted them to a computer account with the user name "nudeteeninga" on Casey's computer, according to The Tampa Bay Times.

Pinellas Park Man Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

Martin Lewis, 59, was arrested on June 14, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.

Pinellas County Sheriff's detectives received information in November that the suspect was allegedly downloading child pornography videos from the Internet, according to a news release. Detectives began the investigation. They executed a search warrant at Lewis' 62nd Street North home on Jan. 12, according to the sheriff's office. Investigators found Lewis had been allegedly downloading child pornography videos since April 25, 2011. The victims in the videos were reported as girls between the ages of 6 and 10, according to a news release. Lewis was arrested on June 14 on the charge of five counts of sexual performance by a child. He was released on a $25,000 surety bond, according to the sheriff's office.
