Fingerprint Led to Bank Robbery Suspect's Arrest, Officials Say

After a series of bank robberies in the Largo area, two suspects are now in custody at the Pinellas County Jail.

Pinellas County Sheriff's detectives think they have found the suspects behind at least one recent Wells Fargo Bank robbery. The Wells Fargo Bank on Park Boulevard in Seminole was robbed on Jan. 9. A fingerprint found at the crime scene came back as a match to Nathan Blisard, 29, of Largo, according to a media release. Blisard was located Jan. 11 around 1 p.m., driving a dark-colored Mustang, near the intersection of Starkey Road and 76th Avenue North in Seminole.   He was arrested on the charge of robbery, according to a media release. Serial Bank Robbery Suspect Sought By Authorities

Largo Police continue to seek the public's help in identifying a suspect who has allegedly robbed or tried to rob three banks within the last week.

Largo Police Department detectives are trying to identify a suspect who is accused of robbing or trying to rob three Wells Fargo banks within the last week, according to a media release. The suspect is accused of robbing the Wells Fargo Bank at 801 West Bay Dr. in Largo on Jan. 3, police report. The same suspect is accused of attempting to rob the Wells Fargo at 2525 West Bay Dr. in Largo around 3:50 p.m. Jan. 9. "The suspect did not complete a robbery at this bank, instead he left this location and committed a robbery at another Wells Fargo Bank on the corner of 131st Street and Park Boulevard," police said. Car Chase Leads to Arrest of Pharmacy Robbery Suspect

A suspect wanted in connection with a series of armed robberies at Pinellas and Pasco county pharmacies was arrested after a short car chase through Clearwater Thursday afternoon.

A suspect wanted in connection with a series of armed robberies at Pinellas and Pasco county pharmacies was arrested after a short car chase in Clearwater Thursday afternoon. Joseph Thomas Young, 37, was seen by Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies driving a silver sedan in Safety Harbor around 3 p.m. As deputies followed him, he sped off, according to investigators.  Deputies went in pursuit of Young. The chase ended a short time later when Young crashed the stolen car off U.S. 19, south of Enterprise Rd., according to investigators. Young tried to flee on foot but was quickly found. East Bay Drive Pizza Hut Robber Still Wanted

The suspect is wanted in connection with a spree that began in September and includes break-ins in three counties. The most recent robbery took place Nov. 1.

Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for some help to identify a suspect wanted in connection with seven armed restaurant robberies in three different counties, including a Pizza Hut in the Clearwater/Largo area nearly two months ago. The spree began in September as a single armed robbery at a Gunn Highway Papa John’s. It has since grown to include a number of robberies in Hillsborough County, the Pizza Hut in Pinellas and one in Hernando. The suspect has only targeted pizza and fast-food restaurants to date. The man wanted in connection with the crimes is described as a black male between the age of 22 and 35. He is about 150 to 180 pounds and stands between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-11. Police Release Sketch of Largo Bank Bandit

The suspect is alleged to have robbed four banks, including three PNC Bank branches in Clearwater and Largo as well as a credit union in New Port Richey, according to Clearwater Police.

The man walks in, typically wearing a black cap. Each time, he pulls out a silver handgun and demands money from the bank teller. In one incident, he was seen leaving in what appeared to be a red, four-door, Ford Focus, according to Clearwater Police. It has happened four times already, and on Monday investigators released a sketch of the suspect in an attempt to identify the man who they say has robbed two PNC Banks in Clearwater, a branch in Largo and a credit union in New Port Richey in a little less than two months. The man is described as white, 25 to 35 years old, about 5-foot-8 with a thin build and short, brown hair, according to police. A $25,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction. The …

Detectives Release New Photos of Homicide Suspect

A surveillance camera in a Seminole store recorded images of the suspect days before he allegedly shot and killed a clerk at the JFS Food Mart on Seminole Blvd.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office has released new images of a homicide suspect along with new details about the crime, with the hope the information will lead to the suspect's arrest. JFS Food Mart clerk Mohammod Islam was shot and killed Wednesday evening. Detectives say the suspect entered the JFS Food Mart at 11801 Seminole Blvd. just after 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 28. The suspect leaned over the counter and engaged the clerk, shot him in the upper chest, then jumped over the counter. The suspect then pistol whipped the clerk and tried to get him to open the cash register. When the clerk collapsed, the suspect jumped on his bicycle and took off, without taking anything from the store. The new images of the suspect were recorded by a …
