Cesarina's Italian Deli & Bakery has a great selection of hot sandwiches such as chicken parmigiana, meatball, pastrami and steak with cheese. All cost less than $4 for a 6-inch sub. A new Largo store offers alpaca apparel, yarn, home decor and more.
In 2008, Alicia Chivers wanted to get back to the basics, so she started her own 3-acre alpaca ranch in Largo. As the herd of alpacas — which resemble small llamas — grew, Chivers, a former telecommunications chief financial officer, realized the need for a store to market alpaca products and a weaving studio to explore the fiber arts. The Criativity store and studio opened in September. The name is not a typo of the English word creativity. "Cria" is a baby alpaca, and "tivity" is a play on nativity, which has to do with birthing, Chivers said. The front of the red building facing Clearwater-Largo Road features alpaca merchandise from Largo and around the world. Largo alpaca fleece is dyed and sent to Texas, where a mill weaves and …

A food counter in the Largo grocery market offers a selection of tortillas, burritos and quesadillas.
In a shopping plaza filled with restaurants, Las Palomas Latin Market offers a selection of grocery items and a place to eat a quick, tasty and budget-friendly meal. Head into the 1300 East Bay Dr. market in Largo and it's easy to miss the food counter in the far lefthand back corner of the store. Choose from a selection of made-to-order tacos, burritos, quesadillas or salads. The Mexican taco came on a flavorful corn tortilla with fresh cilantro and a large quantity of grilled steak with salsa on the side. Tacos with either corn or flour tortillas and a selection of meat fillings are just $2 each. Prefer more food? The taco special of the day offered two tacos, beans, rice and a soda for $6.50, according to a placard on the counter. …
