A Largo man is accused of shooting and injuring his neighbor's dog because it was running around off its leash, the Tampa Bay Times reports. Peter A. Stekol, 69, was arrested Friday and charged with animal cruelty. He was being held in Pinellas County Jail on $5,000 bond. Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies accused Stekol of shooting the dog with a pellet gun around 9 p.m. that night while it was off its leash in a trailer park in the 12300 block of Seminole Boulevard, the Times reports. Stekol had repeatedly threatened to shoot the dog if he saw it running loose, the Times reports, citing an arrest affidavit. Authorities say they know who's responsible for a deadly Largo shooting during what they describe as a drug deal gone wrong, and after the suspect failed to turn himself in, they're posting a $10,000 reward for his capture. Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri announced Monday the reward for information leading to the arrest of Eddie Jonathan Todd Walker, 24, who officials call a "career criminal" and say should be considered armed and dangerous. Authorities signed a first-degree murder warrant last week for Walker, based on information from witnesses to an April 5 shooting in unincorporated Largo that left Terrance Benar Thomas, 38, dead. Three men were arrested on the charge of first degree murder.
Pinellas Park Police have arrested three men in connection with the death of a 39-year-old man last month. Cody Lee Dials, Randy White and Zachary Perrine each face the charge of first degree murder in the shooting of David Rhea. On May 7, Rhea was found inside his 94th Avenue North residence around 2:45 a.m. suffering from a gun shot wound. He was transported to Northside Hospital where he died as a result of his injuries. Authorities believed Rhea was the victim of a home invasion robbery. The suspects in the shooting had fled the scene when police officers arrived. Investigators found Rhea was missing a large amount of cash and the motive of the crime appeared to be a robbery, according to the police department's Facebook page. Arrest …

A 39-year-old man died from gunshot wounds, according to police.
Early this morning authorities responded to a report of a person being shot on 94th Avenue North in Pinellas Park. Pinellas Park police and fire rescue personnel said around 2:45 a.m., they found David Rhea suffering from gunshot wounds inside a residence at 5800 94th Avenue North. Rhea was transported to Northside Hospital where he died as a result of his injuries, according to police. Investigators do not believe the shooting was a random act. They are in the early stages of the investigation. They have not released information regarding suspects or a possible motive at this time, according to police. A tragic combination of alcohol, marijuana, K2 and a loaded gun led to the death of a Dunedin teen horsing around with his friends, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.
Michael Parker, 17, has been arrested and charged with manslaughter in the shooting death of Justin Cleveland, 18, at his Dunedin home late Wednesday night. Cleveland was shot while hanging out with friends, all teenagers, who were drinking alcohol and using marijuana and the synthetic drug K2, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. "We have kids who should not be using drugs, much less alcohol. Investigators say a couple died as a result of a murder-suicide, according to the Largo Police.
The Largo Police released the names of the couple involved in the April 25th murder-suicide in a drug store parking lot. The police say James Ronald Wolski, 35, of Largo shot his wife Stacie Diane Wolski, 40, of Largo. Then he killed himself, according to police. The Largo Police Department responded to a reported shooting around 12:22 p.m. April 25 in the parking lot of the Walgreens Pharmacy at 2991 Roosevelt Boulevard, according to police. A bystander was shot when a fight broke out early Friday at the 24 Carat Gentlemen's Club on U.S. 19. According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, a group of people began fighting as the nightclub was closing about 3 a.m. Donavan Sermons, 37, who was not involved in the fight, was shot and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities have not named a suspect in the shooting. The club is at 16717 U.S. 19 in Clearwater.
