The following people were arrested on felony charges from Jan. 21-28. The reports are based on records collected from the Largo Police Department and the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.
Jan. 21 Seth Emil Basham, 30, of Dunedin, was arrested on the charge of aggravated battery (domestic- pregnant female). Mitchell Mason Bingham, 37, of Largo, was arrested on a warrant from Leon County. He was released on a surety bond of $1,000. Dorothy Blake, 26, of Largo, was arrested on a warrant from Arapahoe County. Bond was set at $6,000. Colleen Cristin Conroy, 28, was arrested on the charge of burglary with assault or battery. She was released on surety bond of $25,000. Maria N. Laskaris, 35, of St. Petersburg, was arrested on the charges of possession of methadone hydrochloride and retail theft. Bond was set at $2,150. A Clearwater man is accused of battering a woman and trying to take her purse at a Largo apartment complex, Largo Police report.
A Clearwater man is accused of attempting to steal his ex-girlfriend's purse, grabbing her hair and her body, pushing and punching her, Largo Police said. According to an arrest affidavit, David Michael Eustace, 36, was sitting in the car of a Largo apartment complex Jan. 28 with his ex-girlfriend, who reportedly owed Eustace money. When the woman tried to get out of the car, Eustace allegedly "chased after her and attempted to rip her purse off of her shoulder in an effort to get her money. (Eustace) then proceeded to batter the victim by grabbing her hair and pushing her in an effort to get the purse," police report. The suspect's ex-girlfriend ran up the stairs. A Largo man was arrested Jan. 28 and charged with burglary with aggravated assault.
A Largo man is accused of refusing to leave and stabbing the door of a Largo residence several times Jan. 28, according to a Largo Police report. Richard Thomas Bracey, 19, was visiting a woman when she allegedly asked him to "leave the residence due to him becoming 'threatening' per the victim," police said. According to the arrest affidavit, Bracey refused to leave even "after being asked more than 20 times" by the woman. He eventually left but stayed on the door step and kept the victim from shutting door, authorities said. Then Bracey allegedly "pulled out a pocket knife and began to scratch and stab the door several times. A getaway vehicle wasn’t necessary for one Tampa thief. According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, the man swiped a ride from the University Bicycle Center, 1220 Fletcher Ave. E., Temple Terrace, around 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 13. Deputies say the suspect walked into the store, took a seat off a Giant Revel Aluxx 6000 series bicycle, walked past the last point of sale and rode the bike away in a northwest direction. They’re now looking for that man on a grand theft charge. Officials are searching for an inmate who escaped from the Tarpon Springs Work Release Center last Friday. A man is accused of taking a phone, money and a car from a woman, according to arrest affidavits from Largo Police.
Jeffrey Thomas Macyowsky, 49, of Clearwater, is accused of entering a Belcher Road residence and taking a phone, money and car and pushing a female resident into a bedroom and attempting to remove her clothing, Largo Police said. According to an arrest affidavit, the woman tried to "break free" and go into a living room. She saw Macyowsky "looking at the cash in her purse. (The victim) stated she believed (Macyowsky) wanted to rape her, and she told him to take her money instead," the affidavit states. When the woman tried to call police, the suspect allegedly took her phone and told her not to.
