A transient from Largo has been charged with attempted murder after he repeatedly stabbed a victim with a butcher knife, the Tampa Bay Times reports, citing the Largo Police Department. Edward Daniel Curran, 24, got into an argument with the unidentified victim, Largo Police reported. According to the Times' story: Curran struck the victim on the head several times with a glass ashtray at a Largo house, left, and then returned with a large butcher knife, police said. He then stabbed the victim in the back, shoulder, arm and head, according to police. Curran fled the scene but was later arrested, the Times reports.
