Have You Seen the Titanic Exhibit Yet in St. Pete?

The exhibit, at the Mahaffey Theater, marks the 100-year anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic.

A century ago, the magnificent Titanic ship sunk after colliding with an iceberg in the Atlantic. More than 1,500 lives were lost as well as countless artifacts. Now you can see the treasures recovered at the Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition. The exhibit runs through March 3, 2013, at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg.  Inside the exhibit you'll see artifacts that have not been displayed previously in Tampa Bay, including plates, coal, clothing and much more.  According to the Mahaffey, the galleries focus on the legendary Titanic’s compelling human stories as best told through authentic artifacts recovered from the ocean floor.
