Two new Okey-Dokey "value-focused" grocery stores are planned for the Largo area.
A Russian retailer plans to develop two new grocery stores in the Largo area, according to Teresa Brydon, economic development manager for the City of Largo. The two Okey-Dokey grocery stores are among 30 planned for the Tampa and Orlando areas over the next year, according to the Tampa Bay Business Journal. One Okey-Dokey is proposed for an existing building at the southwest corner of Ulmerton Road and 66th Street North. The applicant is getting ready for the building permit process, Brydon said. A second grocery store is proposed for a shopping plaza near the corner of Belcher and Ulmerton, where Finley's Irish Pub & Eatery and House of Bagels are located.
