A local surf shop shares options for some fun in the sun and the water!
Padddle boarding is a year round option for water sports lovers in Indian Rocks Beach and other great local beaches. With Tropical Storm Isaac passing through the area recently, the wave action has been better than usual. "Paddle boarding is easy for this area because we don’t have a lot of waves. The injured owl joins the center's other owls Franklin and Matilda. The new owl has a home next to Matilda's enclosure, which was built by Scouts with funds donated by the Clearwater Audubon Society. Now the great horned owl needs a name. Suggestions can be made on the city's website. Deadline for name submissions is September 16.
