Here's a look at how our community is showing its support via social media.
As news broke Monday afternoon that at least two people died and another 22 were injured after two explosions occurred near the finish line of the Boston Marathon, community members began to offer thoughts and prayers on Facebook. According to the Boston Marathon's website, at least three runners in this year's race listed Largo as their hometown. If you wish to search for 2013 Boston Marathon runners, click here. There are lots of things to love about Largo, but what really makes it great are its people. That’s why we want to show off the faces of Largo in this month’s Facebook cover photo contest. Just upload photos of yourself or anyone who makes this town such a wonderful place to live. It could be your family at the beach or park, your kid’s softball team photo, a group shot of your employees, your favorite bartender or your neighbors hanging out in the community.
