Viewfinder: Easter Fun in the Dark

Children hopped through the dark with flashlights on the hunt for eggs.

Hunting for eggs on Easter Sunday is tradition that kids look forward to every year. The members of Play! Largo have put an intriguing twist on the traditional hunt by putting it in the dark and having children explore with flashlights. On Saturday April 9, children under 12 and their parents were encouraged to come out and enjoy the flashlight based egg hunt and other activities, such as music, games and food. The individual egg hunts were split up into different age groups, so even the younger children could have fun in the dark with other young kids. No matter how children did in the search for the eggs, everyone got a prize and had the opportunity for a little bit of early Easter fun.
