Police: Woman Flees Scene of 3-Car Crash with an Injury

The Clearwater woman is accused of leaving the scene of an accident near East Bay Drive and Keene Road, according to Largo Police.

A Clearwater woman is accused of leaving the scene of an accident that injured one person in the East Bay Drive and Keene Road area Wednesday, according to a Largo Police report. According to an arrest affidavit, Jennifer Lynn Fulford, 31, allegedly "caused a three car crash by striking the rear of a slowing car and then side-swiping another car. (Fulford) then fled the scene, going to a friend's house near by. She then exited the car and fled into the residence. She was followed by a witness who alerted police." Fulford, who has a revoked license, reportedly denied driving the vehicle, but a witness confirmed Fulford was the driver, police said.  Fulford's probation status "prohibits her from driving in addition to committing criminal …

Good Samaritan Rescues Largo Woman Who Crashed Into Pond

The 20-year-old driver was pulled out of her car window to safety Thursday before the vehicle sunk into a retention pond at the corner of Belcher Road and Solon Avenue in Dunedin.

A good Samaritan rescued a Largo woman after her car crashed and sank into a retention pond Thursday in Dunedin, deputies said. The driver, 20-year-old Bailey Hartman, was driving south on Belcher Road around 4:45 p.m. Thursday when she was apparently cut off by an unidentified vehicle that made a U-turn in front of her, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office reports. Hartman swerved to avoid a collision but lost control of her 1992 Honda Accord, crashing into a pond at the corner of Belcher and Solon Avenue. Palm Harbor resident Joseph Daniel Isabelle, 46, who was driving by and witnessed the crash, immediately pulled over, took off his shirt, set aside his cell phone and jumped into the water, deputies said. Three-Car Collision on Missouri Avenue Sends Three People to Area Hospitals

The accident occurred at the corner of Missouri Avenue and Rosery Road at around 4 p.m. Monday.

An accident at the corner of Missouri Avenue and Rosery Road on Monday afternoon left three vehicles damaged and sent three people to the hospital, with one of them facing multiple charges for causing the collision. According to Officer David Green of the Largo Police Department, two vehicles were stopped at the red light on Missouri Avenue waiting to turn left onto Rosery Road. The third vehicle struck the first two, causing damage to all three vehicles as well as injuries to the occupants. "Two vehicles were stopped at the red light, the third vehicle failed to stop, ran into the back of the second vehicle, which then ran into the back of the first vehicle," Green said at the scene. Update: Woman, 22, Killed in Car Crash, Police Seek Witnesses

Woman dies after crashing into concrete barrier and light pole on U.S. 19 near 150th Avenue. Largo Police are asking that any witnesses to the accident come forward.

Jessica Lynn Guarino, 22, from St. Petersburg was driving southbound on U.S. 19 near the intersection of 150th Avenue at 7:15 p.m. when she hit a concrete barrier and light pole on Monday. According to Largo Police, Guarino was ejected from her 1995 Isuzu Rodeo SUV. She died as a result of her injuries. The light poles fell onto the northbound lanes and struck two other vehicles, but they had minor damage. Traffic on U.S. 19 was diverted for several hours on Monday while the fallen light poles were removed. Largo Police Department's Traffic Safety Unit is asking witnesses to the fatal accident or anyone with information to contact Sgt. George Edmiston at (727) 587-6730.

There was a witness, the car driving right behind her saw everything. Someone in a Tan car cut her off CAUSING the accident. She told Police what happened and still nothing. Hope the person that caused this can live with him/herself.   more ›
