Largo Man Dies in Seminole Construction Accident
Fifty-two year-old Arben Berberi was killed when an eight-foot concrete slab gave way and fell on him, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.
Updated, 4:12 p.m.: The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office has corrected the name of the deceased man. A Largo man died on Friday afternoon after a concrete slab gave way and fell on him while working on a home in Seminole, according to a Pinellas County Sheriff's Office report. The report stated 52-year-old Arben Berberi, of 8098 91st Terrace N. in Largo, was killed while he and two other men were working on a home the three of them had purchased this past spring at 8080 Robin Rd. The other two men involved in the incident, 36-year-old Genci Shkullaku and 70-year-old Shahin Shkullaku, of Seminole, were uninjured, according to the report.
