Huge oaks with sprawling limbs protect the grounds at Cottage Café and Tea Room. From those first steps, you’ll feel you've been whisked away to a magical world. The staff offers a friendly welcome, as your gaze travels across wall-filled displays of tea sets in every imaginable style. No corner of the café is left unadorned. Even the restroom offers inset shelves of tea sets, nightgowns and a mannequin dressed in a frilly dress of antique women’s handkerchiefs. Owner Debbi Hunter rejoices in the atmosphere. Her childhood, growing up in Europe, was a journey of adventures. Her dad served in the military, which meant …

World Peas, a Treasure Hunter's Refuge in Largo

Actually it's World Peas and this hidden Largo antique shop is a treasure hunter's refuge. The store's creative nature is found in the little details like a wire art dolphin that greets customers at the front store, a wall-to-ceiling array of glassware, china tea sets, crystals and beaded jewelry. Here you can find collector's plates, like the one that sits atop a necklace display that shows a young Princess Diana with her toddler son William. Owner Leah Randall opened World Peas almost three years ago. She's always looked at her interests and the market before …
