Police: Man Stabs Door, Refuses to Leave

A Largo man was arrested Jan. 28 and charged with burglary with aggravated assault.

A Largo man is accused of refusing to leave and stabbing the door of a Largo residence several times Jan. 28, according to a Largo Police report. Richard Thomas Bracey, 19, was visiting a woman when she allegedly asked him to "leave the residence due to him becoming 'threatening' per the victim," police said. According to the arrest affidavit, Bracey refused to leave even "after being asked more than 20 times" by the woman. He eventually left but stayed on the door step and kept the victim from shutting door, authorities said. Then Bracey allegedly "pulled out a pocket knife and began to scratch and stab the door several times.
