Bystander Hurt in Shooting at U.S. 19 Nightclub
One person was shot when a fight broke out at the 24 Carat Gentlemen's Club early Friday.
A bystander was shot when a fight broke out early Friday at the 24 Carat Gentlemen's Club on U.S. 19. According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, a group of people began fighting as the nightclub was closing about 3 a.m. Donavan Sermons, 37, who was not involved in the fight, was shot and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities have not named a suspect in the shooting. The club is at 16717 U.S. 19 in Clearwater.
