Outrageous. Why on earth can't she use the women's bathroom? But really, it's time to do away withRead More one gender bathrooms and make them all unisex. That way transgendered folks will have one less area they experience discrimination.

Simple: if you were born a boy, use the little boys bathroom. If you were born a girl, yes, you gotRead More it~use the little girls room. Perhaps in the future there will be an option for "others" & this is coming from a non bias individual.

Sorry, alisonsol, your answer is ridiculous. If you are really an Alison, instead of Al's SON,Read More then, as a woman, you would know that allowing strange men into the ladies room is a grave danger to ALL WOMEN. When we have issues like this, we need to weigh the "rights" of one against the rights of many. In this case, all a person has to do is declare themselves transgender in order to freely use a restroom -- whether they are truly transgender or not. Yet, you think we should all have to deal with unisex restrooms just so that the .3% (yes, POINT three percent) of the US population don't feel discriminated against. What about the 20% (yes, TWENTY percent) of the women in the US who have ALREADY been raped? Are they not being discriminated against? Should they have to feel stress and worry in the ladies room EVERY TIME they have to go just so that .3% of the population are not discriminated against? I am pretty sure that the percentage of US women who have been raped will rise dramatically as many rapes occur because the rapist has an OPPORTUNITY to rape.

This is school violence pure and simple. Parents must assume the responsibility of discipline forRead More their child and not some bully teacher or principal I attended Florida schools decades ago and saw and experienced much abuse mainly toward boys. What I learned from these criminals was hate, contempt, fear, feelings of rage and revenge and more violence but not ever respect. If I met one of those abusers today I would spit right into their dirty faces. If I picked up a two foot board and hit someone I would be charged and convicted of felony assault but these people get more brazen with time and get away with their crimes. It is illegal to strike a US prisoner, an animal, a mental health patient, and hazing is illegal as well, but it is ok to physically assault a child? We have perverts (male and female) and I personally know of some that you would never guess, that are employed in our schools and are allowed by law to indulge in their fetish because there is no legislation to protect our children in school. This is disgusting and indicative of a third world country, not the United States of America. It is unbelievable to me that this is still going on.

One of these days , Babak, we may meet. I know you don't like me. After we meet you will like meRead More even less. I can tell you don't have a single fan or supporter on any article you comment on. You are disliked by everyone. Your own dog probably hates you. You strike me as a wife, children, and animal abuser. What a pitiful, sorry existence on Earth you represent. You are the kind of person who has a yard I like to let my dog take a dump in and then leave it. Other than that, you are probably not a bad guy.
