With the very high percentage of elderly living here, I am at a loss to find a telephone number orRead More location of services specific to the elderly in Pinellas County! Where is Adult Protect6ive Services? Where is Elder Care? I spent the better part of two hours yesterday trying to find any services for these folks! Where is the Consumer Protection Agency? Why, when I call any 'official' number to locate anything, I get a menu, am put on hold for too long a time, shuffled from number to number or person to person or nothing intelligent at all. I attended a senior expo at the Coliseum the other day and was surprised to find venders only and NO representatives from ANY agency, county, city, state, nor federal! Where were they? Can anyone explain any of this? I am at 388.1612 here in Pinellas.

As a recent graduate of PCU, I highly recommend you take the 10 weeks and fly with all the newRead More knowledge and understanding you come away with. So many fascinating students you make the journey with, and the facilitators are top notch. And a bargain at the price.

Perhaps we should focus more on other things than a war on Christmas. If we had more faith inRead More values, maybe SandyHook never would have happened. Maybe we should have more faith in faith than faith in guns, violence could be curbed.

Does the writer think it is relevant that all of the offenders are young blacks and all of theRead More victims are older white people. How fast this knockout "game" is growing is insignificant to the broader issue of whether this is a racial hate crime or not. Are too many black families broken down to the extent that they are breeding this hate into their children? The liberal media was quick to try to label and pin a hate crime label on the hispanic George Zimmerman in the Trayvon Martin tragedy. The liberal media even invented a new racial label for George Zimmerman, "white hispanic" and NBC is being sued for "editing" the 911 audio tape recording to make it look like a hate crime. Shame on all of you journalists. Please report the news accurately and completely, we don't want the reporter's and/or the editor's cheap political views mixed in with our news. The reporters "endorsement " of the moslem islamic Arab "news" organization call "Al Jazeea" in a prior report should tell you where her political opinion lies (sp).
