Mildred Helms Elementary was built more than 50 years ago and offers a caring and open environment for students. There are many library programs and services, including databases of newspaper and magazine articles, an online catalog and reader awards. Students in first through fifth grade may check out two books at a time and they are due back in two weeks. Students are unable to check out another book until overdue books are returned.
