Looks are Deceiving for Ramona

Ramona is no Pitbull, but because she looks similar to one, she may be passed over.

Ramona is an energetic dog, who might have an extended stay at Pinellas County Animal Services.

Ramona is an American Staffordshire terrier, which looks similar to a Pitbull. The similar looks between the breeds may lead to her being passed over by potential families.

That's a shame too! Ramona is nothing but a sweet and friendly dog. She has the playfulness of a puppy, but loves to snuggle up and relax too!

How to Adopt

Ramona is ready to go to her forever home. She is spayed and microchipped. The adoption fee is $35 and includes the first set of shots, a collar and leash, a bag of food and a toy for the dog.

We've attached an adoption form (PDF) to make it easy.

Adopt Ramona, and we will feature your photo with your new pet on Patch, too!

How to Help

If you can't adopt, but still want to help, Animal Services always needs volunteers.

Contact Kelli Becraft at kbecraft@co.pinellas.fl.us for more information.

If you adopted any of our pups we featured, let us know and shoot us a photo of them in their new home! Each week that an Adoptable at Risk isn't adopted, we'll keep listing them!
