New Lake Avenue Entrance for Highland Recreation Opens May 1

The Highland Recreation Center's Highland Avenue entrance will be closed for construction of the new recreation complex.

As of May 1, customers will need to enter the complex on Lake Avenue.

The Highland Avenue entrance will be closed temporarily due to the construction of the proposed new recreation complex. Once the new center is complete, the complex will have two entrances.

The new 40,000 square-foot building will have an indoor walking track, double gymnasium, indoor play zone, exergaming fitness room, and more.

Workers built the new roadway entrance and made stormwater improvements as a part of the first phase of the project,
