Drivers are being asked to avoid the intersection of Starkey and Bryan Dairy Roads Sunday night.
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, traffic signals are down due to weather.
Officials are directing traffic around the area and say repairs could go through the night. Duke Energy has been notified, police say.
