Sheriff's Ask for Help to Identify Credit Card Thief

Detectives are asking for help to identify a suspect who stole a credit card from a car then used it a short time later at a Largo convenience store.

Detectives are asking for help to identify a suspect who stole a credit card from a car then used it a short time later at a Largo convenience store.

The suspect broke into the victim's unlocked vehicle and stole a wallet in the early morning hours of Aug. 22, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.

The suspect was then seen getting out of the passenger side of a black four-door car at 6:15 a.m. at the Circle K, 13098 Walsingham Road, according to investigators. The suspect went into the store and used the victim's credit card to make a purchase.

The suspect is described as a white male with dark hair. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, jeans, a dark baseball cap and white tennis shoes.
