Crash Into Power Pole Caused Seminole Blvd. Shutdown, Authorities Say

A vehicle crashed into the power pole and caused the partial closure of Seminole Boulevard on Wednesday, according to Largo Fire Rescue.

The northbound lanes of Seminole Boulevard near Sixth Avenue Southeast were closed for a couple of hours Wednesday afternoon after a power pole was hit by a car, according to Largo Fire Rescue.

A vehicle crashed into a pole around 3 p.m., which caused the pole to split. The power was temporarily out in the area of the crash, according to Largo Fire.

Three people were transported to a local hospital.
