Update: Seminole Boulevard Reopened After Rollover Crash, Authorities Say

Part of Seminole Boulevard was closed at 110th Avenue, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.

UPDATE, AUG. 29 10:00 a.m.:

Part of Seminole Boulevard was closed for about 90 minutes Tuesday afternoon because of a two-car crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. 

The driver of a Nissan Maxima, Allan James Carter, 29, allegedly ran a red light and crashed into a Nissan Frontier at the intersection of Seminole and 110th Avenue. The impact apparently caused the Frontier to flip over on its right side, according to a prelimary report from the FHP.

The driver of the Frontier, Alan B. Warner, 65, and Carter were both transported to Bayfront Hospital. 

The crash remains under investigation and details from this incident may change, according to FHP.

A rollover accident closed southbound Seminole Boulevard at 110th Avenue early Tuesday afternoon, according to Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies.

The roadway reopened at 1:38 p.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Pinellas County Sheriff deputies directed traffic around the crash scene, according a news release.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash itself, according to the sheriff's office.

At least one person was transported to Bayfront Hospital from the two vehicle crash, according to FHP.
