Police: Woman Drove Drunk With Child

A woman driving under the influence of alcohol also had drugs with her, according to Largo Police.

A Clearwater woman driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol was arrested and charged with child neglect after she was pulled over for errant driving, according to Largo Police.

Linette Enid Diaz Rivera, 28, was pulled over for failing to maintain a lane at 8:51 p.m. June 27 near Ulmerton and Belcher roads after Largo Police received 911 calls and a "be on the lookout" alert for her.

Police found a child in the car — and that wasn't all.

Before the vehicle was impounded police discovered a pink purse with a pill bottle that contained a percocet, seven tramadol, eight vicodin, 16.5 two-milligram xanax and 8.5 .25-milligram mg xanax and a marijuana grinder, according to investigators.

Officers also found a plastic bag that contained a “green vegetable matter” that tested positive as marijuana.

Diaz Rivera was arrested and charged with child neglect, possession of percocet, driving under the influence, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
