Pedestrian Struck, Killed on East Bay Drive Friday
Police say the man was walking across the busy street Friday night when he was hit by a Chevy Tahoe.
Largo Police are reporting a man was struck and killed by a vehicle traveling in the 2300 block of East Bay Drive on Friday night.
According to the police report, the victim was crossing the street when he stepped into the path of an oncoming Chevy Tahoe.
The man was transported to Bayfront Medical Center, where he reportedly died from his injuries.
Police said charges are not expected to be filed against the driver of the vehicle. The investigation is continuing.
