Morning Gunfire Lands Largo Man in Jail

A morning gun blast landed a Largo man in jail recently.

Tyron Jeremiah Morrison, 27, fired a gun in the air in the middle of the Belleair Place apartment complex, 1704 Clearwater-Largo Rd., at 9:15 a.m. Aug. 6, according to Largo Police.

“This complex is a residence to numerous families with children,” police said in arrest records.

Morrison had a .357 Magnum with a spent shell casing still in the firing chamber in his waistband, police said.

Morrison was arrested and charged with discharging a firearm in public, carrying a concealed firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia, aggravated assault and petty theft. He was released on $20,450 bond.
