Largo Police have arrested 52-year-old David Savage of Largo on charges of aggravated child abuse after deputies say he didn't like a meal the child served him.
According to the arrest affidavit, an intoxicated Savage became upset because he did not like the food prepared by the underage victim, whose age has not been released by authorities.
Savage allegedly then pulled the victim from his or her bed, then grabbed the victim with his right arm to strangle him or her.
The incident caused the victim to lose breath. According to the affidavit, Savage said, "Good, I'll let you not breathe for a while."
After biting Savage's arm, the victim was able to get into the bathroom and call a friend, who then called police.
According to police, the victim has visible bruising on the throat and was transported to a medical facility for treatment.
Savage denied the strangling, the affidavit said. He has been charged with aggravated child abuse and is currently awaiting trial on a $20,000 bond.
