UPDATE: Man Charged in Wednesday Bank Robbery in Largo

Ronald J. Massey is also being charged in connection with a December robbery of the BB&T Bank on Walsingham Road.

Largo Police have arrested and charged a man in connection with a bank robbery Wednesday on Ulmerton Road.

Ronald J. Massey, 30, is charged with armed robbery after authorities said he flashed a knife and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from the Fifth Third Bank at 11281 Ulmerton Rd. on Wednesday afternoon, officials said.

Massey is also being charged with strong armed robbery in connection with a Dec. 14 incident at BB&T Bank, 14141 Walsingham Rd., in Largo, according to police. for information leading to his capture.
