Largo Man Dies in Seminole Construction Accident

Fifty-two year-old Arben Berberi was killed when an eight-foot concrete slab gave way and fell on him, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.

Updated, 4:12 p.m.: The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office has corrected the name of the deceased man.

A Largo man died on Friday afternoon after a concrete slab gave way and fell on him while working on a home in Seminole, according to a Pinellas County Sheriff's Office report.

The report stated 52-year-old Arben Berberi, of 8098 91st Terrace N. in Largo, was killed while he and two other men were working on a home the three of them had purchased this past spring at 8080 Robin Rd.

The other two men involved in the incident, 36-year-old Genci Shkullaku and 70-year-old Shahin Shkullaku, of Seminole, were uninjured, according to the report.

The men were identified as Berberi's brother-in-law and father-in-law, respectively.

According to the report, the three men were working on an addition to the home during the morning hours of Friday, Nov. 23, when the incident ocurred. Deputies responded to the residential construction accident call around noon. The report stated Berberi died at the scene.

Deputies say the incident appears to be accidental in nature. The Medical Examiner's Office will conduct its investigation to determine cause and manner of death, according to the report.

As usual government lied to us. They said if we switch over to reclaimed we will have water forRead More lawns whenever we wanted!!!!! NOT!!! Plus they didin't tell us that we would probably have to replace all valves in sprinkler system shortly after because this water isn't as clean and destroys them. You then have to put in different ones to accommodate the grit etc in the water. Same with the heads those little screens get clogged a lot more and need service more. So much for SAViNG $$$$$$ NOT
