A Largo man beat a woman inflicting injuries that likely will leave permanent scars and tried to kidnap another woman who managed to escape uninjured, according to Largo Police.

A Largo man beat a woman inflicting injuries that likely will leave permanent scars and tried to kidnap another woman who managed to escape uninjured, according to Largo Police.

Bernard Arrollado Bolivar, 43, of Largo, came home drunk and violent Sept. 12, according to investigators.

Bolivar and a female victim, who is not being named because of the nature of the incident, began arguing about his intoxication.

Bolivar then threw a large set of keys that hit her in the mouth, leaving a deep cut that needed medical attention, according to police. The cut is likely to leave a permanent scar, investigators said.

Bolivar also hit the woman on the back of the head with his fist and around her face, according to police. The woman also believes Bolivar hit her with a guitar, but she is not completely sure.

Bolivar also threatened her. He said he was going to kill her and that he already hired someone to do it, according to police.

Bolivar grabbed another victim by her left arm and dragged her out of the house and to a Ford SUV that was parked in the driveway.

He tried to put her in the vehicle through the window, however she managed to escape and run back inside the house uninjured.

Bolivar was arrested and charged with aggravated battery and false imprisonment.

He was released on $13,500 bond.
