Deputies Search For Bank Robbery Suspect in Seminole

Pinellas County Sheriffs are searching for a man who robbed the Cornerstone Community Bank in Seminole this afternoon.

 

Pinellas County Sheriffs are investigating a bank robbery in Seminole this afternoon.

According to detectives, at 12:50 p.m. Wednesday, a man entered the Cornerstone Community Bank at 7800 Seminole Blvd. He gave the teller a note demanding money. The man implied he had a weapon, although no weapon was visible. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money.

After fleeing the bank on foot, the man was last seen running north from the area. Bank security cameras captured images of the suspect during the robbery. 

The suspect is a white male, between 55 and 60 years-of-age. He is 5’ 11” tall, and weighs approximately 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing dark long pants with white tennis shoes and a black T-shirt over a long sleeve white shirt.

The PSCO is actively looking for the man as the investigation continues.
