Alleged Wig-Wearing Bank Robber Faces Child Porn Charges

Daniel Christopher Williams admitted to keeping child pornography on his computer, investigators say.

A Largo man who allegedly wore a wig to rob two banks now faces child pornography charges.

The Tampa Bay Times reports that 29-year-old Daniel Christopher Williams told investigators that he was keeping child pornography on this personal computer at his home on the 1000 block of 16th Ave. NW.

Williams allegedly told detectives that he received the images from a former roommate and had planned to destroy them.

Williams already faces charges of bank robbery in connection to money stolen from the Fifth Third Bank, at 601 Indian Rocks Road, in Belleair, and from 1st United Bank in Clearwater on May 24.

He remains in the Pinellas County Jail.
