Youth Speaking to America
Parents, teachers, and Toastmasters, what do we expect from our young adults? We require them to read, to study, to get good grades we hope.
Do we require them to become confident speakers? Not so much. Do schools teach public speaking in elementary schools, not so much.
I do! In the last 7 years I have seen tremendous progress in youth speaking. This fall I will teach my 9th Toastmaster Youth Leadership Program. Also presenting every year at Toastmaster Leadership Institute’s and District Conventions.

This Toastmaster year 2013-2014, I want to persuade hundreds of clubs to teach and mentor our future with Youth Speakers and Youth Leadership Programs.
