5 Things to Do This Weekend, Nov. 2-4: Craft Brew Fest, Legally Blonde

1. Legally Blonde. The musical based on the hit movie is at the Largo Cultural Center. A college sorority star. who won't take no for an answer, pursues her dream to go to Harvard Law School. Legally Blonde runs from Nov. 2 until 18.  

  • When: Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m., Sunday at 2 p.m. 
  • Where: Largo Cultural Center 105 Central Park Dr, Largo
  • Cost: $23.50 (Plus, any applicable ticket fees).

2. HUGS Family Day. The 8th Annual Fun Day and Walk for Hydrocephalus and related neurological conditions is Saturday in Largo Central Park. Special guest include Uptown Clowns, Ronald McDonald and Darth Vader. There will be music and family activities.

  • When: Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
  • Where: Largo Central Park, 101 Central Park Drive
  • Free, for some activities donate $5 and get a wrist band to participate.

3. Sleeping Beauty. An adaptation of the classic tale of a sleeping princess and a spellbound prince is in Largo on Saturday.

  • Cost: $7.50  (plus, applicable fees)

4. Red White and Brews Fest. Enjoy microbrews, craft beer and more? The brews fest offers samples, food and souvenir cups. The event is Saturday evening at the Armed Forces History Museum off of Ulmerton Road.

  • When: Saturday from 5 until 9 p.m.
  • Where: The Armed Forces History Museum 2050 34th Way, Largo,
  • Cost: $25

5. Train Weekend. Ready for a ride through Largo Central Park? The Largo Central Railroad runs the first full weekend of each month. Save time in line: Complete the Train Waiver and bring it with you.
