Halloween Spooktacular

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!  Join the Armed Forces History Museum as Maggi Tax Advisory and Veteran Solutions
presents Halloween Spooktacular on Saturday, October 26th from 11 AM – 2
PM.  This family event is sure to be a great afternoon as kids search
for treats – but look out for the tricks!!!!  This afternoon of fun will
also include scavenger hunts, food, games, arts and crafts, a costume
contest and more.  A special thanks to our 2013 Special Events Associate
Sponsor – Clearwater Toyota.  Halloween Spooktacular is brought to you in part by Tampa Bay Parenting Magazine.

This afternoon of fun will also include scavenger hunts, games,
arts and crafts, a costume contest and more.  Once again, the AFHM
will be offering Spooktacular Rides – Military Style for $5 each on our Gama Goat,
a six-wheel drive, semi-amphibious off-road vehicle developed for the
US Military during the Vietnam War.  The Gama Goat’s articulated two
body system allows it to travel over exceptionally rough, often muddy
terrain.  Click below to learn a little about the Gama Goat and watch it
in action.

Bring
the entire family and join us for this spooktacular event.  You just
don’t know what you’ll find as you tour the museum.  Round out your
afternoon of fun with a ride on our Motion Simulator Theater, similar to those found at Universal Studios.  Might we recommend a ride through the “Haunted Castle”?

Tickets for the Halloween Spooktacular are $10 for adult and $5 for
youth 4-12.  Children under the age of 4 are admitted free.  Regular
simulator rates apply.  Tickets can be purchased on-line below.  You can
also purchase tickets by phone (727) 539-8371, or at the front desk at
the museum.
