1. Largo Motorcyclist Killed in Seminole Boulevard Crash

A 19-year-old Largo man was killed when his motorcycle struck a car Wednesday night at Seminole Boulevard and Walsingham Road, the Florida Highway Patrol reports.

The former owner of the puppy who was found with a rubber band around its muzzle in December 2011 has been convicted of animal cruelty, according to reports.

3. Largo's Open Air Market May Close

Largo's Open Air Market may close due to low attendance by patrons, although no decision has been made yet, according to Largo Community Center Recreation Program Manager Warren Ankerberg.
