Grimaldi’s Pizzeria, famous for its award-winning, hand-tossed, coal-fired brick oven pizzas and calzones, is pleased to announce a donation of nearly $3,000 to Girl Scouts of West Central Florida.

Since February 7, the start of National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend, Grimaldi’s has offered Tampa Bay customers two unique desserts featuring iconic Girl Scout Cookies - Thin Mint Cheesecake and Samoa Cheesecake. Sold for $5 each, all proceeds from these desserts have been donated to Girl Scouts of West Central Florida to fund council projects.

“We are pleased to have partnered with the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida on such a worthwhile fundraiser,” said Cory Lattuca, food & beverage director/corporate chef. “Thanks to the generosity of our customers, many of the specialty cheesecakes sold out in just a few weeks.”

The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the largest girl-led financial literacy program in the country. As one of four key Girl Scout initiatives - Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy - the program teaches goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics.

Grimaldi’s Pizzeria has three Tampa Bay locations at WestShore Plaza and Citrus Park Mall in Tampa; and Countryside Mall in Clearwater.
