Coming Soon To East Bay Drive: Ballroom Dance Studio
A sign at Keene Plaza says the Magic Dance Club is moving into the long vacated bank building on East Bay Drive.
A local dance studio appears to be branching out into a long vacated property on East Bay Drive.
According to a sign at the Keene Plaza, Magic Dance Club is coming to the site sometime in the near future.
The company's website states it opened its first studio in Pinellas Park in 2007 and, "Immediately the studio began to be recognized not only for its ability to make great dancers, but...for being the friendliest most welcoming studio in the area."
The location at 2100 East Bay Drive had been home to a number of financial institutions over the years, most recently a Wells Fargo branch that closed in 2007.
Records show the Keene Plaza was recently purchased by Paradise Ventures, Inc. for $6.2 million in November of 2012.
However, there is a 'For Sale' sign on the property today.
Patch is currently attempting to reach out to the owners of Magic Dance Club in order to get their official statement on the move to East Bay Drive.
