'Best Dance Studio in Tampa Bay' Coming To Largo

Owners of the Magic Dance Club are excited to branch out into the Keene Plaza on East Bay Drive.

Bogdan Wienc already owns a successful business in the Tampa Bay area.

So when it came time to branch out and open a new location for his Magic Dance Club, he didn't want to stray too far from home.

Wienc and his wife, Gosia, have decided to open a second Magic Dance Club in the old bank building located at 2100 East Bay Drive in the Keene Plaza.

"We hope to open three or four months from now," Wienc told Patch via phone. "We're working on getting all the permitting done with the city."

"We got a good deal, it's a good location and we feel it's a good spot for people to notice us."

The Wiencs opened the original Magic Dance Club in 2007 in Pinellas Park. They offer individual and group ballroom dance lessons to people of all ages.

Wienc said the East Bay location will feature their signature lessons and competition training, plus a weekly community party as well as social clubs.

"We plan on having open parties on Friday nights where the whole community can come," he said. "We also will host private parties and weddings as well."

According to their website, the Wiencs were once finalists in the Polish National Dance Championships and were named one of the 12 best couples at the U.S. National Championships in the ballroom division after moving to America.

Bogdan Wienc said the studio's commitment to hiring the finest instructors and training the strongest competitors will carry over to their new location.

"We are one of the top studios for competitions and we have the best teachers and students in the area," he said.

"You can safely say we will have the best, most exclusive, most elegant dance studio in the Tampa Bay area right here in Largo."
