Flick N Float Family Movies

  • When Friday, July 15 at 7:30p.m. 
  • Where At the Southwest Recreation Complex and Pool located at 13120 Vonn Road, Largo 33774
  • Why Go – Come join us for a Friday night movie with your favorite float or chair. Free hot dogs and concessions are available. Games and activities with a Medievel theme. Tonight's movie is How to Train Your Dragon. The movie starts at sundown (around 9:00p.m)

Swing Dancing with Savoy Swing

  • When Saturday, July 16. Free lesson from 7-8pm then dance from 8-11 p.m.
  • Where Largo Community Center, 400 Alt. Keene Rd.
  • Why Go DJ Savoy Swing has over 125 people showing up on average for this enjoyable evening. No alcohol permitted.
  • Price  $7 per person

Scrapbook Cropping Marathon

  • When July 15-17, Friday 4p.m. to 12a.m. Saturday/Sunday 7a.m. to 12 a.m.
  • Where Largo Cultural Center, 105 Central Park Dr.
  • Why Go Scrapbook til you drop! It's a full weekend of 50 hours of non-stop scrapbook fun that includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and drinks. Bring your scrapbook items and join fellow scrapbookers, share techniques and make friends. 
  • Price $75 full weekend, $35 for Saturday only.

Monthly Night Nature Hikes 

  • When Saturday July 16 at 6:30 p.m.
  • Where  11901 146th St. N. 
  • Why Go It's family oriented, and flashlights are optional on this guided nocturnal walk in the woods to find raccoons, bats and more night creatures. Just meet at the flagpole when you get there.
  • Price Donations are welcome

Edison and Ford Exhibit 

  • When July 17 Sunday at 1 p.m.
  • Where  11909 125th St. 
  • Why Go Celebrate our heritage and take a comparative look at old Florida, 1885-1940s, in the time of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford. It is an exhibit for discovery, education and fun for the inventive, adventurous young and young at heart
