Sweltering Temperatures Kick Off Largo's Week
Forecasters say rain chances are low now, but that won't last throughout the week.

Largo residents hoping for a break from the heat aren’t likely to get it over the next few days.
Rain chances are almost nonexistent at the start of the week, but meteorologist Robert Garcia says folks shouldn’t get too used to the sunshine.

“By the end of the week, (we’re) back in the wetter pattern,” he said. “It might be a little wetter than typical.”
Garcia said there’s a patch of tropical moisture that could bring plenty of rain our way as the week winds down. Right now, chances for rain are about 10 percent on Monday and 30 percent Tuesday and Wednesday. But, they jump up to 60 percent Thursday and Friday.

While severe weather isn’t anticipated at this point, Garcia said it’s always a good idea for Bay area residents to keep their eyes on the sky.
