Largo Skatepark Grand Opening Set
Skate and bike demonstrations as well as giveaways are planned as part of the ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. Aug. 17 at Bayhead ActionPark, 375 Seminole Blvd.
Largo's latest concrete skate spot is set to open with all the gala fit for a skatepark.
There will be skate and bike demonstrations as well as giveaways as part of the 11 a.m. Aug. 17 ribbon cutting ceremony at Bayhead ActionPark, 375 Seminole Blvd.
The lighted, 7,000-square foot outdoor concrete facility features a mini-ramp, seven-foot empty pool and a street section with rails, steps and grind box.
Two lakes and a 1/3 mile, asphalt walking trail were recently redeveloped around Bayhead Complex. The facility also featured four lighted sand volleyball courts and two lit basketball courts and a lighted multipurpose field.
