Lady Longs for a Home!

Meet this lovely Lady!

Meet Lady (#286956). This two-year-old retriever tips the scales at 30 pounds. Found as a stray, she was wearing a pink collar when she was picked up by animal control officers. She also had a microchip, but all attempts to find her previous owners were unsuccessful, and no one ever came to claim her. Their loss is a new family’s gain, because she’s a very sweet dog and looking forward to making a new owner very happy.

If you bring this article with you to , Lady can be yours for the low fee of $25.  And, remember, every single one of the pets offered for adoption at Animal Services are spayed or neutered and have all of their required shots. And, this week, we are bursting at the seams with many adorable and adoptable pets to choose from!

With all of the rain the Tampa Bay area has been having, it’s definitely mosquito season. While these flying insects are normally considered pests, they can present a serious danger to your pets. Mosquito bites can transmit heartworms to your cat or dog, leading to an infection and serious health concerns. If you haven’t done so yet, keep your pet on a heartworm preventative and have your pet checked regularly by your veterinarian. Your pet will thank you!
