Frugal Family: Valentine's Day Deals You Won't Want to Miss

Valentine's Day is almost here, and we've found some of the best deals for moms.

• Valentine's Day Bake Sale: Head over to Pinellas Preparatory Academy's Bake Sale, on Feb. 10 and Feb. 11. Save yourself the trouble of baking, and choose from one of the many delicious, homemade treats, like cupcakes, cookies, muffins, cakes, pies and more. Desserts will be wrapped to take home or to give as a gift. Pinellas Preparatory Academy is located at 2300 S. Belcher Road, #100, Largo, FL. 33771. Bake sale hours: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Valentine's Day Deals: CVS has plenty of deals this week, including cosmetics, candy and cards. Scan your CVS extracare rewards card in the store's coupon center to receive  a $3.00 off coupon for any $10.00 cosmetic purchase. With any Maybelline purchase of $15.00 of more, you'll receive $5.00 extra bucks (for your next purchase). Stock up on Valentine's Day candy: kids' character-themed boxes of candy are $0.99; Russell Stover boxed chocolates start at $3.99; and Dove chocolate heart gift boxes are $9.99. Save 25 percent off boxed Valentine's Day cards for your child's classmates. Until Feb. 14 and while supplies last, you can also buy the plush "Kissing Bears" for $5.95 with any American Greetings card purchase. This week's sales are effective until Feb. 12.
• Albertson's Grocery Deals: If you're planning to cook a special Valentine's Day dinner, Albertson's has some fabulous buy one, get two free deals on petite sirloin steaks, boneless pork chops, shrimp rings and boneless chicken breast. For dessert, you can pick up a decorated cake for $5.99 or indulge in a six-pack of chocolate covered strawberries for $9.99. Sales prices are effective until Feb. 15.
• Cheap DVD Movies: Do you want to find a family favorite, or give one away as a gift? Head to Walmart for their huge $5 DVD movie sale. Titles include the teenage hit "Twilight" and kids' favorites, like the five-movie set: Princess Collection (includes Snow White, The Little Princess, Pocahontas, The Little Mermaid, and Cinderella). Other children's movies include "Blues Clues: Classic Clues", "Benji Collection" and the animated movies, "Chicken Run" and "Everyone's Hero".
