Enjoy a spring floating movie night on Ray's Opening Day!

Celebrate opening night of the Tampa Bay Rays baseball season with a special Spring Break Flick-N-Float movie at Southwest Pool, 13120 Vonn Road, on Friday, April 6.

The featured movie, The Perfect Game, is based on a true story from the 1957 Little League World Series. Gates will open at 6:30 p.m. and the show will begin at dusk or around 8 p.m.

The first 150 people will receive a special admission gift from the Tampa Bay Rays and those dressed in Rays attire will receive chance-drawing tickets to win prizes.

Beef'O'Brady's on Walsingham Road, is supplying free Kayem hot dogs, just like at Tropicana Field, while supplies last. Donald Stott, Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT #MA59338) will be on-site to provide free chair massages for interested attendees.

Lifeguards will be on duty and floats are provided, though you may bring your own floats. Only Coast Guard approved flotation devices are allowed in City of Largo pools and they are available at no charge.

Please do not bring in food, snacks or drinks and smoking is not allowed within the fenced area of the pool.

Admission is $4 with a Largo recreation card and $5 without. There are no rain checks or refunds for severe weather.

Summer Flick-N-Float movie dates are July 6, 13 and 20 at Southwest Pool (13120 Vonn Rd, Largo 33774). For a complete listing of movie titles or a listing of all summer activities at Largo Pools, visit LargoPools.com or call (727)518-3126.

Note: The Tampa Bay Rays home opener at Tropicana Field on April 6 starts at 3:10 p.m., so there's time for a double-header!

As usual government lied to us. They said if we switch over to reclaimed we will have water forRead More lawns whenever we wanted!!!!! NOT!!! Plus they didin't tell us that we would probably have to replace all valves in sprinkler system shortly after because this water isn't as clean and destroys them. You then have to put in different ones to accommodate the grit etc in the water. Same with the heads those little screens get clogged a lot more and need service more. So much for SAViNG $$$$$$ NOT
