Pinellas County Justice Center debuts
In order to better reflect the wide variety of services offered there, Pinellas County’s former Criminal Justice Center has been renamed the Pinellas County Justice Center. Chief Judge J. Thomas McGrady initially made the request in coordination with the constitutional officers this past April in light of the addition of traffic court and other administrative functions.
This facility, opened in 1996, is home to 23 courtrooms and numerous offices under the Board of County Commissioners, Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller, State Attorney, Public Defender, Court Administration and Sheriff.
